The nation of Kirkland now has an official state bank. Go to http://shireroth.org/bank/ and sign up for an account. Be sure that you sign up to have it be in Kirkland.
Governors are required to have their account be in the Republic of which they are Governor.
Anyone else will be required to pick a Republic to become a resident of and at that point you will become an official resident of that Republic for record keeping purposes.
Forms should be filed with the Committee on Residency and Resettlement in the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs in order to inform the government of your change of residency.
Just as a note, if you are planning on changing your Republic of residency you are required to file a Change of Residency Form. Failure to report changes of residency can result in the requisitioning of funds from your account.
