[u][b]Be it resolved that:[/b][/u]
[list=1][*]A number of committees will be formed in the Supreme People's Congress that will have the primary duty of drafting legislation.
[*]Each committee will be designed to draft legislation for a specific policy area.
[*]No committee may draft legislation that is outside the purview of their committee.
[*]The following will be the committees that are to be created by this legislation:
[list][*][u]People's Committee on Defence[/u] - deals with legislation that concerns the People's Armed Defence Forces and other matters of external security
[*][u]People's Committee on Police and Internal Security[/u] - deals with legislation that concerns police and the internal security of the People's Republic
[*][u]People's Committee on Economic Development[/u] - deals with legislation concerning the expansion of the economy of the People's Republic.
[*][u]People's Committee on Industrial Regulations[/u] - deals with legislation that concerns any regulations (ie safety, working hours, etc.) that effect industrial industries.
[*][u]People's Committee on Agriculture[/u] - deals with legislation that concerns agriculture
[*][u]People's Committee on Labour[/u] - deals with any legislation that concerns labour relations (ie wages, leisure time, etc.).
[*][u]People's Committee on Justice[/u] - deals with any legislation that concerns the judicial system and crime.
[*][u]People's Committee on One-Year Plans and the Budget[/u] - deals with one-year plans and the nation's budget
[*][u]People's Committee on Cultural Development[/u] - deals with legislation that concerns cultural activity in the nation.
[*][u]People's Committee on the Furtherance of International Communism[/u] - deals with legislation that concerns the expansion of international communism.
[*][u]People's Committee on Foreign Affairs[/u] - deals with legislation that concerns treaties and other agreements with foreign nations or organisations.
[*][u]People's Committee on Congressional Procedure[/u] - deals with legislation that concerns the procedures of the Supreme People's Congress.[/list]
[*]Committees will, upon completion of the drafting of their legislation, submit their legislative drafts to the Chairman of the Supreme People's Congress for placement on the Legislative Docket.[/list]
